AH Raider – Quick HowTo

The main functionality of AH Raider is to watch over Characters auctions

1.) Add Character to the watch list

  • Select the Realm (Region)
  • Select the Fractions auction house (Alliance, Horde, Neutral)
  • Select the Server from the List of Servers (auto complete TextBox)
    • It may take some time to download the server list from BattleNet,
depending on your internet connection.  As long as the download
takes, you will see a loading indicator.
    • For this time beeing the auto complete box will be empty.  You can
wait or enter the server name anyway manually – without the
auto complete function showing the server names.
  • Enter the Character Name exactly like it’s in the Game.

2.) Select a Character from the list

    • First expand, then double tap

3.) View the current auctions of the chosen player.

    • It may take some time to download the whole list from BattleNet,
depending on your internet connection.  As long as the download
takes, you will see a loading indicator.
    • Due to the nature of the WoW Community API, the returned data includes
all the auction house items.  This can take some time to complete.
    • The first items are processed and displayed when the download still
hasn’t finished, so the list you see on your screen could possibly
      increase!

4.) Filter the list of current auctions of the chosen player for a certain item if you wish so

    • You can even do this when the download of the item list is still in progress
since the download is running asynchronously in the background.

In addition you can also watch a certain Item

1.) Add the item to the watch list

  • Select the Realm (Region)
  • Select the Fractions auction house (Alliance, Horde, Neutral)
  • Select the Server from the List of Servers (auto complete TextBox)
  • Enter the Name of the item exactly like it’s in the Game.

2.) Select an item from the list

3.) View all current auctions for this certain kind of item
